I really like the first photo…the second, not so much! Water in a house leaves the same sense of violation that I’ve read people feel when they’ve been burgled. 😦 Glad it’s dried out now.
Yes! In conjunction with time and temperature as factors, the presence of water within the plaster membrane is important in order to hydrate the cement paste and develop suitable strength and toughness.

Send us some rain! When Phobane gets to 30% (It is now at 41%) they are going to cut us off. And the mighty Tugela looks like a trickle. Eish!
