A sculpture with a difference, to honour late former President Nelson Mandela has been unveiled at the Sea Point promenade, Cape Town.
It is a giant set of stainless steel spectacles, anchored on the ground facing Robben Island. Artist Michael Elion says the artwork is dubbed “Perceiving Freedom”.
