This weekend the Saturday challenge from GC and Sue in their monthly colour challenge, they have chosen Xanadu. Not the film, nor the song made famous by Olivia Newton-John – Xanadu is an actual colour. It is a green-gray color that comes from a plant known as the Philodendron. The plant leaves are generally a green color with a tint of gray.
It’s the closest colour match I could find. A bit lighter than the real colour Xanadu

Ek het gaan lees oor die philodendron en ons het vroeër altud n klimplant gehad wat bly groei en groei en groei het. Bekende huisplant gewees. Glo giftig ook.

Ek kan dink dis amper soos n olifantsoor plant. Weet nie wat die regte naam daarvoor is nie

Daar is nog n hele verskeidenheid van die plante. Tina het bv n donkergroen vetplant agtige blaar een gehad. Hul gaan net nie dood nie.
