In the city where I live we have a number of those lanterns. I’ll start a document with inspiration for Thursday doors, so that when I share one I can link up to yours.
I’m wondering if they are a typically Dutch thing and that’s how they ended up in Stellenbosch. I never saw them in the city where I grew up, but that’s a newer city than the one I live now.
