  3. I like the look of your thick soup. Your comment about eating with a fork reminded me of my granddad at my cousin’s wedding.

    My late husband and I had been instructed to look after Granddad.
    At the reception each place sitting at the table was laid out with the row of knives and forks, Granddad was confused at seeing so many and asked which one he should use for his soup. My husband quipped, ‘Use your fork’ so he did!
    Obviously, I told my husband off for his joking and I pointed out the soup spoon to Granddad.
