Marsha Ingrao from Always Write blog has an interesting challenge.
What PPAC is all about.
Public art is which encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, Christmas lights, even buildings or bridges. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks or outdoor public places

Topic Suggestions
- Seasonal Displays
- Graffiti
- Statues and Sculptures
- Collections
- Store Windows
- Car Shows
- Artistic Construction (benches, buildings, bridges)
- Wall Art (not just murals)

I like the one with the wire and beads. It looks the most “wild.”

Aletta, what a great assortment of lions. The one with beads must have taken such a long time. It’s so unique! Thanks for sharing. I think my lions are happy they are making such a splash hit with PPACers! LOL

I can’t even imagine the amount of time and precision needed for that beaded lion!! Really, who sits down one day and says, “Hmmm, I have nothing to do for the next year or two. Maybe I should buy five million teeny, tiny beads and make…hmmm. How about a lion?”

I often thought about the same thing too. Great dedication and hard work to finish this project.

Nice photos, Aletta. It’s interesting how much lions feature in statues. Something to do with their standing as kings I suppose.
