Anita from For the Love of blog’s new challenge Amazing Stonework.
I thought I’d join in this week.
Dry stone, sometimes called drystack or, in Scotland, drystane, is a building method by which structures are constructed from stones without any mortar to bind them together

dry stone walls are amazing – not that common in my part of England but further north and west they abound. Incredible constructions

When I visited England, I was amazed by the stonework. When I designed my new garden here, I wanted something like that, but it was too costly, so I have faux stonework, but gee, it’s just not the same.

Impressive. Must be thick too to keep dampness out.
