For anyone who can manage the long climb, the terraces at the top of St Paul’s are well worth visiting. Great views around. Your photo here is a great one – really zooms us down from on high.

My knie daardie oggend seergemaak en was net te pynlik om al die trappe op te klim. Ek het onder in die katedraal gesit en saam met honderde mense elk in hulle eie taal die Onse Vader gebid. Was n ongelooflike ondervinding.

So many interesting lines here, Aletta. I know I haven’t been to London for some years, but I don’t remember any buildings this close to the cathedral.

I have not been able to climb those steps at the cathedral that day in 2004, my hubby went to the top and took this photo.
