OH my, what a wonderful updated color approach to the granny square!!! My, does your photo bring back memories of me coming home after a trying day at work, having a glass of apricot brandy with a friend, and both of us sitting there crocheting granny squares! I lived in a tiny, tiny apartment in my grandmother’s house. The sitting room space we sat in together could just fit a sofa on one side and a chair on the the other, with a small table in between.

I used to crochet Granny squares…maybe it’s time to pick up the crochet hook again…if my old fingers will let me.
