Constantia Glen is ideally located below Constantia Nek, just moments from the bustling Cape Town city centre. This picturesque boutique wine estate produces ultra-premium, cool climate wines. Constantia is the oldest wine producing region in South Africa dating back to 1685.
Constantia Glen has a unique position cradled between the Constantiaberg and Table Mountain (World Heritage Site) ranges, with predominantly north-east facing slopes. This location allows for exposure to late afternoon sun, ideal for the slow ripening of the grapes.

Hello Aletta, lovely again, I see not only am I behind on responding to all emails work and personal but I have not made it to visit fountains posted in time, gorgeous fountain in the sun – you must work in SA advertising or is in the wine industry? Either way, every photo, takes me that much closer to an email in my inbox on a trip down the garden route and vineyards (and great restaurants)..:) thanks as always Poli

Your blog has widened my world considerably. I travel to the Napa wine country here frequently as it is only an hour away from my home in San Francisco. Your blog makes me want to visit your wine country. It is unlikely I will ever get there, so I will look for wines from Constantia instead. I wonder if they have them here?
