The last photo is quite intriguing. At first I thought they were flying in different directions and were going to crash. Then I realized the heads were in the same direction, but their wing spans look different. Can they be different birds? Or just the same type of birds but wings in different position? I actually thought they were massing jet planes at first. It is fun when a photo can draw a person in like this one did.
Carol, these are aquatic birds commonly known as cormorants and shags. Their wings are in different positions during their flight back to their nesting area near the shore. There were thousands of them returning from their day’s hunting in the ocean
