  1. We have a pair running wild in the long grasses on the empty lot next to us. My husband dubbed them “lunch” and “dinner”, thinking that they could not possibly survive among the kites, snakes, mongoose, monkeys and wild cat, but we still hear them chattering away early morning and late afternoon. They even had a brood of little chicks, but these disappeared from the scene very quickly. Lovely pics.
