Color your World: Outer Space

When there is no matter, there is nothing for the light (however little of it from distant stars in outer space) to reflect from something into the eyes. When we say something is colored, it’s because there IS SOMETHING. We have close to nothing in outer space, hence the ‘black-ness’.

      1. Well sounds like yuh had a nice compromise! We have a room with this awesome dark shade – it is some type of gray – turquoise – blue – and was when the layered colors were in – but after a while it is too dark! Rich at first – but want lighter now- and so I think you made a good compromise!
