I will be away for a while and will not have internet to post or keep up with all the reading… Hopefully, I will have time to catch-up when I get back… Have a nice time everyone…
Creation Vineyard is little piece of paradise in South Africa’s Walker Bay Wine Region. Here, high up on the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.
Streptocarpus is a large genus native to Southern Africa. Streptocarpus are plants with typically strap-like leaves, which grow either from an irregular rosette with several leaves emerging directly from the ground, or as a single leaf, the only leaf the plant will ever produce.
Most of the rosette species are perennials.
The rosette forms of this genus are very popular ornamental plants. In general, they prefer coolish temperatures, and will not do well during hot weather. They should be planted in a relatively open and well-drained medium that is kept evenly moist, never continuously wet.
My daughter travelled to New Zealand last year to visit her brother, they spend some time in Ohakune. I have never seen snow close-up. I had to rely on her photo’s to show how cold it was.
For this challenge, we had to capture something broken: an old window, a vintage sign, a toy never fixed, a contemplative friend.
