Sue dips into her old English Oxford dictionary to pick a word on the page that it falls open at. The challenge is to post a photograph you like best to describe what that word means to you.
Some coral reef – seen at Mauritius. Taken through the glass of a glass bottom boat.
well the boat you were on must have been very fun – what a view – and love the colors here – nice reef – and did you see any nets? I just saw a documentary (half of it) where concerned divers were removing fishing nets from various reefs – I knew plastic was a problem – but had no idea so many nets need up damaging them – and what a big mission they are on to help the reefs –

it was a lot of fun, we did not see any nets, fortunately! It was in a bay! It is sad to hear about plastic and nets damaging the reefs!

You are lucky! I wouldn’t have a single photo of a coral reef 🙂

Very nice pics, Aletta. They remind me of when we went in a glass bottom boat on the Great Barrier Reef.
