This color is a representation of the color of the interior flesh of a cantaloupe, the most commonly consumed melon.

The first recorded use of melon as a color name in English was in 1892.

  1. I have never seen gerbers in this color – and I like your entry. every year I also buy a couple of starter pots of gerber daisies and well, they are one of my favs to have among the flowers…
