Oh that’s a nice one – funnily enough to me it just seems peaceful, not lonely, I imagine hot day, where nothing much moves due to the heat, people inside having a siesta, grabbing a cold glass of home made lemonade and sitting under the tree on the bench with a cushion and a book.
Yes, “lonely” is the correct description – the house appears to be empty, the door is closed, the windows are blank, the grass is dry, the tree branches were cut and left … however, the surroundings are neat, the house is well maintained and the trash can has a lid on. Where are the people; out for Sunday afternoon coffee at the neighboring farm? Inspiring.
