I love wood carvings like that! When something that could be considered an eyesore gets turned into something lovely, it makes me happy. After Hurricane Katrina, we lost a ton of trees down here on the Gulf Coast, and many, many artists took to the ruined trees and turned them into spectacular art – almost all of it beach/water themed and/or angel themed. It’s so nice to see as you drive down the beach.
