Weekly PHOTO CHALLENGE : Fray

Advertisements

This week’s challenge is to share a photo of what “fray” means to you — it could be a tear in a favorite pair of jeans, a street rumble just about to begin, or a friend diving into an oncoming wave at the beach.

Fray as a verb – (of a fabric, rope, or cord) unravel or become worn at the edge, typically through constant rubbing.

synonyms:

unravel, wear, wear thin, wear out, wear away, wear through, become worn, become threadbare, become tattered, become ragged, go into holes, go through

I have placed this photo before, but I think it’s worth posting it again.  – it became tattered!
